Popular pub that reopened in November 2016 following extensive refurbishment. Situated at the edge of the village when approaching on the A618 from Rotherham, parts of it date from the 1600's. It caters well for diners with an extensive lunchtime and evening menu. The real ale range has been slighly reduced recently following a change in leaseholder. Guest beers are usually sourced locally. Four en-suite bedrooms are available. Handy for the nearby Ulley Country Park and village. Well known for it's extensive menu of good value food, though beer prices are a little high for the area. Can be very popular at the weekend. reopened by a former landlord of the pub. Lease now available again.
