This family run free house, in a Grade II listed building dating from 1626, focuses on a good range of food and beers. There are two bars with a separate dining area and a family garden with children's play area. The snug, or village bar has a TV. The chef uses top quality fresh locally sourced produce, with a focus on traditional British and Nepalese/Indian food. The pub opens am for Breakfast, Coffee, Tea, & Cake Tue to Sun, and a carvery on Sunday.
Kitchen recently burnt out, so a much simplified meal service is provided at weekends from a temporary kitchen.
