This Pub is Permanently Closed

Hotel built in 1854, which has had several bars over the years including the basement Palace Tavern, Cellar Bar and Queen's Bar. Latterly an unnamed bar on the ground floor leading to the left of the lobby. Generic modern decor. No cask ale and two standard keg beers. The TVs showed cable news channels. According to a press article, the hotel has been used since 2021 exclusively to house asylum seekers waiting for their claims to be processed. The bar is closed.
