Local branch Pub of the Year 2022.

Friendly village free house in a 17th century Grade II listed building comprising a large L-shaped lounge bar at the front and a small public bar to the rear. Small front patio. Behind the spacious car park lies the large walled garden and adjacent bowling green. Very popular for the home-cooked food. They have regular fish nights and pie nights. Convenient for Ryton Pools Country Park.
