Set back from the A49 on the North bank of the River Weaver this pub has live music performances on Thursday nights in the comfortable lounge furnished with leather armchairs and sofas. Daily specials supplement the menu. It is a popular starting (and finishing) point for walkers exploring local countryside and also has a children's play area and beer garden. Annual steam traction weekend early October.
