A quaint traditional country pub dating back to the 1750’s. For many years it was used as the meeting point for Exmoor ponies to be driven to Bampton market, encaptured on old photographs in the pub. Located at Bridgetown, in the heart of Exmoor National Park, it is a delightful drive up the A396 from Tiverton on a road meandering along the banks of the river Exe. Across the road is a lovely cricket ground, featured in Wisden as the prettiest cricket ground in England. Bus route to/from Tiverton, Dulverton, Minehead. The pub has 3 real ales in summer and two in winter.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
