Lively town centre local. No real ale.

Historic Interest

Dating from at least 1854. A West Cheshire Brewery pub. Described in 1980 as cramped, crowded and characterful with sing-songs in the back room and club room upstairs - selling Burtonwood Mild and Bitter. Sometimes know as the Irish House.
