This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

The Club was founded in 1842 and moved into its present location, very close to the National Liberal Club, in 1904.

The Club champions the farming industry via seminars, study tours, a bi-monthly Farmers Club Journal, and receptions at agricultural shows and regional events. Members are all involved in farming either directly or indirectly in ancillary industries; there is a six thousand ceiling on membership.

The Club also runs a charitable trust to “promote the science and technology of agriculture in all its aspects for the public benefit”.

Opening hours given are for Reception opening, mornings only at weekends.
