Formerly known as The Dolphin, The Sergison Arms is named after the Sergison family, who historically owned large areas of farmland in and around Haywards Heath. Dating back to the 16th century, it is thought to be one of the oldest buildings in the town and began life as a private dwelling called Vynalls, named for John Vynall (d.1599). Now a Miller & Carter steakhouse. Real ale status unknown - some outlets have real ale, others don't.
