The pub is adjacent to Romiley railway station. It opened in 2012 following complete refurbishment and is now a free house and wine bar. The large bar down the side of the mainly open plan lower floor offers up to three real ales on handpump. No food currently being served although it hoped to restart soon. Easily reached by bus (384 / 383) and train.
Reopened in November 2025 under new management.
