A small hotel with a friendly bar and restaurant overlooking the Village Green which has been under new managership from August 2019 offering upto 4 cask beers from regional brewers and one from a local brewery.
The nearby castle (not open to the public) was the home of Sir Ralph de Broc, the murderer of Thomas a Becket at Canterbury Cathedral.
The pub is a convenient stopover for the Channel Tunnel and Dover for those who prefer to stay in a small licensed venue as opposed to the national chains.
These are the core hours, but we will open earlier and/or later for sports events or special occasions, please enquire at the bar.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
