Known locally as the "Thack" due to it being the only pub with a thatched roof in Derbyshire. The pub has two rooms centred around the bar and a third adjoining, featuring low ceilings, giving it a cosy welcoming atmosphere. This is a community pub with dominoes, darts and skittles teams. A free house with an emphasis on changing, often local, ales (see real Ale Finder). Quiz with free buffet on Thursdays.
