CAMRA responds to Wetherspoon's delay in paying suppliers

In response to Wetherspoon's delay in paying its suppliers during the Coronavirus crisis, Tom Stainer, CAMRA's Chief Executive said:

"This unprecedented crisis has been devastating for the entire pub and brewery industry - but what has been particularly pleasing is the positive way most have pulled together to offer mutual support. We'd call on all in the industry, especially the larger companies such as Wetherspoon's which may be better placed to survive this crisis, to do all they can to help out the suppliers who could be facing permanent closure if payments due are withheld."
