Winning the regional pub of the year is a rare event for Solway pubs! That's even more difficult in our new region which recently added Greater Manchester to Lancashire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man. It is an amazing achievement for the Cumberland Inn in Alston to win this award which will be presented by our regional director, Ralph Warrington, about 1.45pm.  Our minibus Campaign Pub Trail will head straight to the Cumberland Inn at Alston, the branch, Cumbria and North West pub of the year!   We will also be visiting Alston House, Alston; Turks Head, Alston; Kirkstyle Inn, Slaggyford; Stone Inn, Hayton.Our bus leaves from Carlisle city centre at 12.30pm, returning there about 6.30pm. The bus is filling up!
