Meet at Pleuchies Howff from 11.45am for our August Campaigning trip. Heather always sends us off in good heart usually with a Carlisle Brewery beer on as well as another interesting brew from somewhere else such as Abbeydale brewery.

We leave at 12.30pm on the Galloway Community Transport minibus to the Clachan Inn in St Johns Town of Dalry. Previous sub-branch pub of the year and always giving us a warm Glenkens welcome.

 Next we head to the characterful Craigdarroch Arms Hotel at the heart of delightful Moniaive.

 Finally we head to Thornhill where we can visit the our Pub of the The Year Farmers Arms nobly representing us in the overall Scottish competition. Now with 3 handpumps in the lounge.

 There may be time for some to visit our other Real Ale venue in Thornhill serving Born ales - the

Buccleuch Queensberry Arms Hotel

The minibus will drop off at the Whitesands Dumfries shortly after 5pm where there are several pubs only a short walk away.
