Description

Banks's was founded as maltsters in 1840, commencing brewing in 1874 and moving to the current Park Brewery in 1875. It became the principal brewery of Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries (W&DB), founded in 1890. In 2007 the Marston's name was adopted following the takeover by W&DB in 1999. A joint venture with Carlsberg in 2020 led to the renamed Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company. Alongside the traditional Banks's beers it also produces Wainwrights and Bombardier, as well as contract brewing. Part of Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Co.
