It turns out that of all the beers drunk by Alain, the brewer, over the years the majority of his favourites have come in at an ABV of 4.5% - his magic number. This magic number is based on traditional XB's. a premium bitter, soft and smooth with indulgent caramel and toffee flavours, lightly bittered to give a refreshing malty beer.
