Merseyside’s first Micropub and true to the formula it serves no spirits, Alcopops or keg beers. No music, just good conversation. Belgian, German and British bottled beers are available, and usually two ciders (boxed). Board games are available, and there is a library of beer books and guides. The Liverpool Pigeon gets its name from an extinct pigeon called the Liverpool or Spotted Green Pigeon (Caloenas maculata) - of which the only known specimen is in the Zoology collection at World Museum, Liverpool.
