This 17th Century traditional village pub, a Woodforde’s house since 2022, welcomes locals and visitors alike.. Serving Woodforde’s cask range, fine wines and local spirits along with a menu focused on locally sourced ingredients and local producers.. Cosy wood burners, relaxing beer garden and fantastic Sun­day roasts. All adds up to make this a must visit family friendly pub … you can even bring your dog!

Historic Interest

A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 18 Sep in 1802 states that : Creditors meeting at the house of Francis DANIELS, commonly called The White Horse. A report in the Ipswich Journal*** in Apr 1870 states that : Died on the 6th ,at Kelsale after 3 years illness & in his 23 year, Frederick James Chaplin the only son of the late James Chaplin of the White Horse Rendham. A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 17 Oct in 1893 states that : Died, on 07 Oct 1893, at Yoxford, Mrs Mary Ann WHITMORE, formerly of the the White Horse, Rendham, aged 74. The building dates from the 17th century.
