Attractive stone built pub close to the A47

As of June 2019 Burghley House Preservation Trust Limited were trying to redevelop the paddock land to support restoration of the pub or to sell both to a residential developer. The paddock is outside the Area of Development in the current Morcott Local Plan so planning is currently blocked on the paddock (2019). As of September 2020 Burghley House Preservation Trust Limited are still the freehold owners.
