The Old Pheasant has long been associated with providing travellers with food and lodgings situated as it is on the A47 in the rolling Rutland countryside. An updated take on the Countryside Inn the Old Pheasant retains beams and open fires yet adds well-appointed rooms and modern restaurant.

Two cask ales are available regularly - sometimes a third is added.

The property stood empty for some time until taken over by Bernard and his team in 2024.
