NB Reopening on 3rd April 2026 under new management, presence of cask ale not yet known. Awaiting survey, all details shown refer to the previous operation.

An inclusive pub situated just off the main road, opposite Centre Vale Park. Inside, there's a low beamed ceiling and a wall extending into the centre of the pub, with the bar and a comfortable seating area on the left and a pool table and further seating on the right, also used for large-screen coverage of major sporting events. The stone fronted bar has a stone flagged standing area, the margins in the bar-back decorated with bunches of grapes in relief. Frequently lively, popular with young people and sorts fans, this pub has regular live music, discos or karaoke, often with an LGBTQ+ flavour. Free pool and happy hour prices Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Up to three beers from local brewery Eagles Crag are available on handpull.
