Sold by JD Wetherspoon and bought by Amber Taverns who have carried out a very smart refurbishment, while reverting to the historical name. There are sports TVs in several different areas, sometimes showing separate live events. The screen behind the bar is very large, 2.5m by 3.5m and will show all major football matches etc. Huge selection of gins, 70+ on show above the bar, these are served upstairs in the balcony area, along with a range of cocktails. Background pop music played throughout the premises.
