SWIGG, Swansea

A trendy harbour side "Bar, Restaurant & Live Music Venue" located within Swansea Marina, alongside the National Waterfront Museum, at the Western end of a large brick built dockside unit. Inside there is a large open plan room with mostly long table seating and an equally large patio area outside. Food, made from local produce sourced from the Gower and South Wales, is served on small plates, with a variety of gins, cocktails, wines and some craft beers to choose from.

The name SWIGG stands for "South West Inner Green Grounds" and is named after a light buoy out in the seas of Swansea bay. The large mural on the wall behind the long bar was designed by a local artist named George Little, this mural reflects the shapes & colours of the SWIGG buoy and the bar and restaurant has a laid back open plan, industrial and maritime feel to it. A regular quiz is held on Thursday eves and "Happy Hours" on Tuesdays Wednesdays Fridays & Sundays. Also an "open mic" night is held on the last Monday of each month.
