Re-opened on 2 Dec 2025 under new management.
This traditional pub was built on the edge of the World Heritage Site of Saltaire village because Sir Titus Salt did not allow licenced premises in the area. Previously the Victoria and following a period of refurbishment, it re-opened in December 2017 as the Salt Cellar. Much of the character of the earlier building was retained. It comprises a two-roomed house with Victorian character having comfortable seating, stained glass partitions and book shelves. The servery is located between the two rooms. There are numerous pictures of old Saltaire adorning the walls. In the main lounge, there are six handpulls although only three have been in use since its re-opening in December 2025 and feature varying cask ales from regional breweries. Nine keg taps offer lagers and ciders. The public bar / games room now focusses on selling specialist gins, of which there is an extensive collection, and also has four keg taps. TV screens, two in each room, show a variety of sports events. There is live entertainment on Saturday evenings and an "Open Mic" night takes place on Tuesdays from 9pm. Thursday night quiz. Cask ales sold at a reduced price all day, Monday to Wednesday.
