This pub can be found in the market square. Three cask ales are served along with pub meals, and fish and chips are the speciality.

The nearby castle grounds and surrounding countryside, with extensive views across the River Cherwell valley, make it an attractive stop on either a country walk, when travelling by bus between Banbury and Oxford or when exploring the surrounding local ironstone villages.

It may close earlier at weekends if it's quiet.
