This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

On The Waterfront is situated on the historic Exeter Quayside, and is house in converted cellars of old 19-century warehouses that once served old sailing ships. Outside scenes for the "Onedin Line" TV series were filmed here. The restaurant offers a good selection of lunch and dinner dishes - from their renowned pizzas to fresh fish, meats, pastas and salads. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but may be taken in the bar area. On The Waterfront offers good quality food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It is very popular with families and groups. There is a cycle hire shop next door.
