Opposite the village war memorial the bar is part public with darts and pool table. The large fire place has a coal burning stove and a butter churn doubles as a coat rack and umbrella stand. Outside at the rear there is a tropical garden area and there is also seating outside at the front. External food vendors visit (see Facebook for details) and there are frequent social events.

There are steps up into the pub from the road and staff have a ramp that can be put in place to allow access. Once inside the bar and pool table area are on the same level. The toilets are not fully accessible.
