Built in 1708, this grade II-listed thatched pub sits in the town centre. Its open-plan interior features two areas: one with a large TV, the other with an open fire. The pub serves a wide, ever-changing range of real ales and craft beers, has a spacious beer garden, hosts regular live music, and a party atmosphere at weekends. Food is not currently available, though you can bring food in. Real ales are priced at £3.50 on Mondays.
