Former coaching inn and free house dating from 1784, situated in the centre of the village, and serving three cask ales. The menu features locally sourced ingredients, gluten-free and vegetarian options and daily specials. A log-burner makes the inside cosy, and there is an outside seating area to enjoy in the sunshine.

Accommodation is available, and makes a good base to visit attractions in the area.

A beer festival is held on the last weekend of August.
