A community oriented, friendly village local within easy walking distance of Barnstaple. Two changing real ales are kept, with one of these invariably from local GT Ales. Good, freshly-cooked and locally sourced food is served Friday to Sunday in the separate lounge bar. A function room, with skittle alley, pool table and dart board lies to the rear of the pub.
