A long single room, local pub and restaurant on the main road in the middle of small town. Attractively and comfortably furnished, it has a dedicated central drinks area in front of the long bar, with eating areas at either end.

The bar has two handpumps, but normally only one is in use, with the second in reserve, whilst the cask ale range frequently changes through a variety of local regional brewery beers. There is a good range of home cooked meals available most of the week and the Sunday lunches are popular!
