After being closed for five years this 400 year old pub was reopened by a local family in November 2015. A large multi-fuel stove is situated between the lounge and bar. There is an outdoor rear patio area. Opening hours may vary according to demand.

The pub was closed from winter 2018 -2019 and reopened in February 2024.
