A popular country pub close to the River Trent, Chesterfield Canal and West Stockwith Marina. It is the tap for the Idle Brewery which is situated next door. One bar serves the open plan pub which has bar, lounge and dining areas. At present the brewery supplies three real ales(hoping it will soon be five)for the bar plus there is also a guest beer. The pub has a reputation for good quality and value food, Tuesday is curry night and Wednesday is pie night. A Quiz and Live Music once a month. A nice touch is the beer barrel of drinking water outside for dogs.
