Occupying an idyllic position beside an ancient bridge over the River Idle, the Haxey Gate Inn is a friendly local specialising in good, wholesome, reasonably priced food and well-kept beer. Diners can enjoy their refreshments throughout the inn, but the front-facing conservatory is popular, with plenty of seating. A choice of four real ales, usually 2 from Batemans and 2 from local breweries. 6 letting rooms are available.
