Reputedly an old coaching inn, probably the second oldest pub in Tutbury after the Dog & Partridge. It has been suggested that the name derives from vineyards which were sited near Tutbury Castle in the 14th-century. It is now a friendly locals pub, with a basic L-shaped public bar and a comfortable lounge, the latter featuring old photos of the village.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (From Marston's list.) and 1 regular beer.
