Pub and music venue with extensive outdoor seating.

The Twa Tams first opened as a music haunt in November 1975.

Having featured some big names in Scottish music over the years, Tams has become Perth's premier music venue, with folk, jazz, rock or soul bands and soloists on stage most nights.

Atmospheric bar with beamed low ceiling, illuminated stage, and large outdoor drinking area.

Under new owners who took over in 2025, cask ale made a brief return early in 2026. Closed Mondays & Tuesdays and not currently serving food. No sign of real cider making a return on handpull, and cask ale only available currently on an occasional basis.

Historic Interest

Formerly an army commandant's house. Founded in 1975 as a music pub by the original twa Tams - two local lads George Thomas Craic & Martin Thomas Sweeney.
