Traditional city pub with front beer terrace.

An old establishment in the heart of the city, this traditional pub is opposite St. John's Kirk, and the new Perth Museum, now home of Scotland's Stone of Destiny. Previously owned by the Thorpe family for 30 years, The Kirky was acquired in late 2014 by local licensee Derek Petterson, with real ale from local Inveralmond Brewery making a welcome appearance from two handpulls on the bar until 2021.

The bar area is split between front and back rooms, while the sunny Beer Terrace, fronting onto the pedestrianised St. John's Place, was expanded in April 2023.
