Village pub brought back to life by the Helions Bumpstead Community Benefit Society and reopened in December 2021 having been closed for four years. Now managed by experienced local licensees, the pub is run on community principles with community events and a mobile post office, re-fill provisions van, and a fruit and veg stall visits the car park on Thursday mornings. The pub is gaining a reputation for its restaurant. Runner Up in CAMRA's National Pub Saving Award in 2022.
