After being a restaurant for many years, it returned as the Phoenix with a pub area in July 2019. Entering through the lobby there is a dining area to the right with a step down to a large seating area and the bar.

Following lockdown 3 it reopened in May 2021 as Histon Smokehouse. In late 2023 it underwent another transformation becoming Tawa Lounge serving a mix of British and Asian dishes. The food ranges from breakfast through to full meals and Sunday roasts.
