This Pub is Permanently Closed

Former Thwaites' pub, refurbished in 2016.A local beside the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation, hence the pub name. Bought by a property company in late 2018 and reopened under new tenants in February 2019, following a period of closure but closed again in May. It was hit by an arson attack in August 2019 and it's future is now uncertain. Subject to a change of use application to storage and distribution centre on January 24th 2023 and subsequently changed to this use.
