This Pub is Permanently Closed

Built as an octagonal building to replace the nearby Three Horseshoes, which closed in 1971. Opened in 1975. Following closure in 1983 became retail and then a branch of the Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society. Building largely rebuilt in 2006-7 and last vestiges removed in April/May 2021 as part of Unilever Eden Campus redevelopment.
