The smallest pub in Chipping Norton, parts dating back to 1684. There is a cosy wood burning fire in winter or sun-trap garden in summer. Traditional pub games played include Aunt Sally, Cribbage and Dominoes. There are two hand pumps on the bar, serving Hooky as a regular and a guest from the Hook Norton range of ales.

The garden includes an outside pizza and snack bar, which can operate during the summer months. Otherwise pizzas can be ordered in the Red Liion and then delivered via the kitchen's in the Fox down the hill. A dart board is available as is dominoes and crib and in the summer aunt sally is played.
