This comfortable and busy establishment is a great combination of traditional pub and pleasant diner, a 10-minute stroll from the town centre. Two of the four original areas, including the bar, boast open fires or log burners, and there is a spacious restaurant to the rear where the famous Sunday carvery can be enjoyed. Five well-kept ales, and good conversation.
