Two bar local's pub, the left hand bar on entry is the quiet bar. No real ale available, the closest thing you'll find is bottled Newcastle Brown and Sharp's Atlantic on keg. Although the opening times are stated these are subject to footfall and owners discretion, therefore can close earlier than stated. The pub has a licence till 11pm on Fri and Sat but under the terms of the licence needs to have security on the door from 8pm; which is seldom used hence the closing time is 8pm.
