An appealing gastro-style/bistro bar with trendy bare brick walls and a mixture of comfortable seating. Although many original features have gone, the cornices remain and the ceiling is worth an extended look as it is an extract of a map from 1804 showing the distilleries and buildings in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh. You can see how much it has changed!

The main menu is gastropub style with a brunch menu also available Saturday and Sunday until 3pm.

In addition to the real ales some German bottled beers are available that may be of interest.

NOTE: May close earlier if quiet!
