Café bar that caters primarily for visitors to the Nottingham Contemporary art gallery. Popular in summer due to the large outdoor seating area at the front.

Historic Interest

Work on Nottingham Contemporary building began in 2006 on Garners Hill on the edge of the town's old Anglo-Saxon fortified township, or "burh".

An interesting history of the area in which the building is located by Chris Matthews is available on the Nottingham Contemporary website.

Nottingham Contemporary is in Nottingham City Council's Lace Market Conservation Area.
