This Pub is Closed Long Term

This historic village inn serves a dual purpose - during the day, it operates as a licensed tearoom, serving lunches and afternoon tea. In the evening, the main bar opens up as a pub for the locals, with up to three beers being served. There are plans to have events such as quiz nights and there will be occasional live music evenings.

Historic Interest

The Mitre pub was closed and converted into a hairdresser for a number of years, and then the hairdresser closed and the property was converted back into a pub in May 2021.
