Ex-Watney, Ascot Estates. Was the Swan, then Richmonds, from late 1980s Uncle Sam's for over a decade. Reopened in 2008 as the Haggerston. Not very big inside, so it's easily filled, attracting a bohemian graduate clientele, mostly aged 20s and 30s. There are some reasonable draught (Konig Ludwig, Krombacher, Red Hook, Urquell) and bottled beers. Food by chapbistro. Cask beer reinstated 29 October 2025 after 10 years.
