Refurbished in 2012 and describing iteself as a "Craft Beer House". Closed in 2018 for building refurbishment. Reopened in Septmber 2025. Features live music and keg beer. Oct 25 -Kitchen is still being fitted out so outside food can be brought in.

Historic Interest

Local listing:- A fine Victorian public house. Four storey brick plus slate pitched roof. The attic storey has decorative dormers. Triangular corner of building has a decorative pedimen, with frieze,scrolls,cartouche and date of building - 1881 There is a two-storey painted 'Fox' sign and a continuous Cast Iron window gaurd dividing the first and Ground Floor Ground Floor.Timber joinery. Corner doorway with pediment.
